Cohorts
Experience 16-weeks of immersive and hands-on cybersecurity training. Students are expected to spend a total of 20 hours per week on Evolve Academy studies. Students watch pre-recorded lectures and lab tutorials before coming to class, which allows more time to focus on practical skills learned through labs. The first 30 minutes of class sessions are spent addressing student questions, reviewing key concepts and discussing how they apply in a real work environment. Then, students work in smaller teams on the labs and the real work apprenticeship project with instructor and TA support.IN-PERSON BootcampCohort meets Monday – Thursday from 6:00pm to 9:00pm CT, and every other Saturday from 10:00am to 3:00pm CT.
The first 4 weeks are remote through live-online instruction and the remaining 12 weeks meet in-person in Chicago, located in the Merchandise Mart Plaza.REMOTE BootcampCohort meets live-online through video conference Monday – Thursday from 7:00pm to 9:00pm CT, and every other Saturday from 10:00am to 3:00pm CT.
For additional support, office hours are available from 6:00pm-7:00pm CT on Mondays and Wednesdays and from 9:00pm-10:00pm CT on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
