Who doesn’t love powersports? Ripping through the mud, water, and wilderness is fun for everyone. But it also takes a lot of care and know-how to make the machinery work right. That’s where you carve out your own career.

With nothing else like it in Missouri, our Powersports Technology program lets you learn in one of the best-equipped shops in the state. You’ll learn to diagnose, service, and repair major components of motorcycles, boats, ATVs, outdoor power equipment — essentially anything used in outdoor activities that has an engine.

The hands-on curriculum is designed to give you the technical skills and knowledge needed to rapidly advance within the industry. You’ll have the ability to become certified in two-stroke and four-stroke gasoline engines, diesel engines, drivelines, and electrical.

Truly hands-on education

We believe time-on-task has to be part of your education. That means time spent learning from experienced instructors in real-world environments and real-world situations. That’s why the State Tech campus is home to more than 50 labs, an automotive bay, aviation hangar, and 40+ acres of land dedicated to our heavy equipment operations program.
