CU Boulder’s Active Learning program is a unique academic program that enables students to gather real-world experience in exciting settings—locally or around the globe, develop personal and professional skills while earning credits or wages, work with faculty to see whether a career in academia is the right path, serve those in their community via K-12 teaching or tutoring, take part in engineering or research projects for the public good, and get a head start on a professional career through co-ops and internships. The Active Learning program offers awards, credits, and service participation points to students.
